North Fair Oaks, California, is an unincorporated area and census-designated place found in San Mateo County. It sits adjacent to Menlo Park, Redwood City, and Atherton. It is known locally as Little Michoacán because of its large Latino community who migrated from the same state in Mexico. As one of the earliest settled regions in San Mateo County, a considerable amount of the area’s development occurred during two separate boom eras, the San Francisco earthquake of 1906 and pre–World War II. In the area’s recent years, the North Fair Oaks Community Council has dedicated its efforts to continue growth and engagement throughout the community.

While in North Oaks, guests can visit and enjoy various activities throughout the area. Hikers and campers alike have the chance to explore the wonders of Edgewood Trail and Pulgas Ridge Preserve. The breathtaking view of the mountains is a great way to get away from the world and enjoy the natural beauty. And those with four-legged friends that love the outdoors, the trails are easily accessible and open for play.
