Tuolumne County, El Dorado County, and Marin County are Strawberry, California, three separate unincorporated communities. Tuolumne County’s Strawberry is the home of the Strawberry Music Festival and is known as the Strawberry Flat because of its wild strawberry growth. In El Dorado County, the area was once a top-rated resort and is the home of a historical climbing area, Lovers Leap. Then there’s the history of Marin County and the Strawberry Recreation District, which dates to the 1940s. Its goal to grow and create more than a location has been carried out through the years, making Strawberry a uniquely exciting place.
Whether it’s taking a quick trip or plans for a more extended stay, there is plenty to do in Strawberry. Attractions near the area include eateries, family adventures, vacations, and much more. Pinecrest Lake Resort is an excellent option for those who aren’t a fan of sleeping outdoors. But for those who are, Pinecrest Lake is a wonderfully clear lake available for fishing, boat rentals, and camping with family and pets. Then there’s the Pinecrest Theater, a wildly popular place in the area. It is an outside experience for everyone in the family to enjoy, whether it’s watching a movie or breathing in the nighttime stars.
